Да уже не нужен. Проблему я решил.
Вкратце: в 0.8 довели до ума GPRS/3G через мобильник.
В 0.7.2 сиё действо не работало наглушняк... Тилипон куда-то коннектился
но умирал на фазе аутентификации...
Проблема разрешилась, когда я вдруг решил, что таки мне нужно с телефона
выходить в энторнет и я начал копать в сторону vwdial (сильно хвалили в
гугле)... после установки vwdial из репозитория p5, NetworkManager
чудесным образом начал связываться через телефон... Видимо, NM не
хватает каких-то библиотек/скриптов, которые есть в vwdial...
как-то так, да...
