Мне кажется, что имена ( а также адреса ) компам имеет смысл задавать
один раз, "при рождении", т.е. при покупке и вводе в сеть. Используя
соответствующее пространство имен.
И не привязывая эти имена к именам пользователей.
А для назначения "ролевого" имени ( например, director ), использовать
псевдонимы CNAME в ДНС.
Тогда не будет путаницы с переименованием компьютеров при смене
пользователей.
