Если у Вас многоядерный процессор - посмотрите вывод
cat /proc/cpuinfo | grep processor

В ядрах ветки 2.6.18. В то время еще разделяли.

Сорри за ламерский вопрос, но не было раньше двухядерных процов в моём
пользовании...
Вот теперь на двух ядрах в связи с чем вопрос - какое лучше ядро ставить?
При инсталляции автоматом посавилось 2.6.30-std-def
Но вроде как для двухядерных лучше ядро с "smp" в названии? Или я что то
путаю...
В общем оставить это ядро или менять? Если менять то на какое?
