Здравствуйте!
Пытаюсь настроить локальную печать на FreeNX-сервере терминалов.
smb-принтер на сервере успешно добавляется. При попытке печати у клиента
в логах samba появляется следующее:
[2009/07/21 13:29:56, 0] smbd/service.c:make_connection_snum(1003)
'/var/spool/lpd/lp' does not exist or permission denied when
connecting to [smb_HP] Error was No such file or directory

Кому это дважды понадобился /var/spool/lpd/lp? Его, естественно, нет.

И ещё: статус принтера на nx-овом cups "Unable to connect to CIFS host
after (tried 3 times)"

Проблема снята, указал верную spool-директорию в smb.conf
