Добрый день,
Неожиданно обнаружил, что мультимедиа-приложения KDE 3.5 (amarok,
kaffeine) перестали воспроизводить звук. Очевидные пакеты вроде
*-engine-xine на месте. audacious и vlc работают исправно. Что делать?

Попробовать сменить в настройках движка xine вывод звука с auto на
alsa, или сначала выяснить, через что играют audacious и vlc.
