От формата возможность печати не зависит. Так что хитрить смысла нет.

Опять таки - он либо все "кривовато" печатать будет, либо все иначе.
Но это зависит еще от принтера и от драйвера. Я так понял, только HP
поддерживают Линукс драйверами, а все остальное - дохлый номер.
