Чтобы не терялась прописывают статические маршруты.
Когда у вас поднимается тоннель, адрес по умолчанию переключается на
тоннель.
Я вроде-бы начинаю понимать... Вы вероятно локалкой называете домашнюю
сеть, это так?

Я пока вижу проблемы пользователя (не обижайтесь), начинающим
линуксистам (эта рассылка для них) такие проблемы тоже очень интересны.
