ну тогда сложный путь: подбирать частоты.
посмотреть режимы по умолчанию можно так
xrandr
далее пробуете понизить частоту обновления полей
xrandr --output LVDS --mode 800x600 --rate 50
частоту точно указывать не нужно, xrandr подберёт наиболее близкую.
Как правило в ЖК мониторах стоят не очень скоростные АЦП и этого должно
быть достаточно для синхронизации изображения.
Если и это не поможет, тогда создаёте свой режим
xrandr --newmode .....куча параметров
В этой куче параметров есть в том числе и ширина полей синхронизации вам
эти поля нужно сделать по-больше. О том как правильно задать параметры
погуглите modelines.
О том, куда вставить подобранные параметры в xorg.conf вам подскажут.
