Subject: [Comm] VirtualBox - не могу отформатировать винт

Всем привет!
Стоит задача поставить XP (будь она неладная, заказал курс один... денег
отвалил... а он под вайном не работает) на VirtualBox.
В общем, создал машину (1024 оперативки из 1.5 Гб реальных, видео 32 из
128). Создал винт на 20 Гб статический (сразу разметил место). Доходит
дело до разбивки винта - раздел создаёт, а форматировать не хочет. Комп
секунд на 15-20 подвисает полностью, винт реальный скрипит, затем машина
(виртуальная) выключается, в VirtualBox где список машин - написано, что
работа машины прервана.
Значит виртуалбокс я ставил OSE из бранча 4.1 под альтом 4.1. Кроме
того, пытался винт отформатировать из-под ALT Linux LiveCD с помощью
gparted - то же самое, раздел создаёт, а файловую систему не хочет.
Файловая система - ntfs...
Кто сталкивался и знает, что это может быть? Быть может какие-нибудь
опции неправильно выставил?
