Если осталось старое ядро, можно попробовать загрузиться с него и
проверить. Или загрузиться с livecd от Desktop 4.0 (если такой
существует).
Можно посмотреть, есть ли ругань на тему прерываний в dmesg, если
есть, прислать его сюда.
