Я читал здесь: http://leolik.blogspot.com/2008/02/virtualbox.html. Там
про убунту, но в основном подойдет и для альта.
Для активации Гостевых дополнений ставить на гостевую систему ничего,
касающегося VB, не надо. Нужно последовать инструкциям по ссылке и нужно
скачать VBoxGuestAdditions.iso, положить его в
/usr/lib/virtualbox/additions/
