Хочу поставить систему с нуля на чистый HDD.
Выкачиваю *dvd.iso, к примеру,
altlinux-4.1.0-beta-20080827-desktop-i586-ru-dvd.iso
<ftp://ftp.altlinux.ru/pub/beta/desktop/20080827/altlinux-4.1.0-beta-20080827-desktop-i586-ru-dvd.iso>
записываю на болванку и устанавливаю.
Потом появляется более новая версия. Вопрос: какие репозитори нужно
использовать, чтобы обновиться до этого нового состояния ?
Почему так сильно различается объём dvd дистрибутивов :
altlinux-4.1.0-beta-20080822-desktop-i586-ru-dvd.iso 4516970 KB

там что, половину пакетов выкинули :) ?
Во время установки программа-установщик предлагает некое распределение
объёма диска на разделы "по умолчанию". Подойдёт ли она для ноутбука -
т.е. рассчитана ли она на активное использование hibernate ?
Есть ли какие-нибудь оценки времени официального выхода 4.1 ?
