Обязательно. На госте, новички-убунтовцы обязательно интересуются Compiz.
От себя. Добавлю. Основы управление процессами из консоли:
Распознавание процесса приведшего к зависанию графической подсистемы
(например) и восстановление работы ОС без
волшебных "три-раза-по-три-пальца" (безопасная аварийная
перезагрузка: Alt+SysRq+...) или перезагрузки с использованием
консольных команд.
Редко, но сам сталкивался с такой ситуацией. ИМХО ksysguard в этих
случаях совершенно бесполезная вещь. И для Linux-only систем для
рядового пользователя актуально. Даже на десктоп-системах.
