Поправил xorg.conf
Section "Device"
Identifier "Card0|0"
Driver "fglrx"
EndSection
Иксы перестали грузиться совсем.

По факту - в наличии привод Пионер. Другого нет. Лишних денег - тоже.

Поставил это ядро и модули к нему.
Результат - нулевой. Привода DVD нет.
Ункоун дивайс.
Таким образом - все? Больше вариантов нет?
