Здравствуйте!
Подскажите, пожалуйста, почему м.б. такое:
$ ntpq -c rv
ntpq: read: Connection refused
При этом:
$ service ntpd status
ntpd is running
Пробовал и от пользователя и от рута. АЛД4.

делаю:
control ntpd server
в ntp.conf появляется строка
listen on *
как я понимаю, теперь слушает всё, но далее:
# ntpq -c peer
<пауза секунд 15>
pullet.spb.gsras.ru: timed out, nothing received
***Request timed out
Вообще говоря на ntpq свет клином не сошёлся, но я привык так проверять
работу ntpd: запустил, посмотрел обмен пакетами, stratum и т.д. Может
есть какой-то другой инструмент для этого? service ntpd status --- не
очень информативно...
