Пакеты, которые не входят в репозитарий я ставлю через
rpm -Uvh
Не рекомендуется использовать -ivh
т.к. если установлена более древняя версия пакета, то она и останется. И будет 2 пакета.
Могут возникнуть конфликты по библиотекам.
-Uvh - Update. Т.е. снесётся старый пакет и установится новый.
