Меня ввели в заблуждение:-)
Проблема в следующем - NTFS позволяет сохранять файлы с длиной имени
210 символов (до этого меня убеждали - что там ограничений на
длину имени нет)
Но при сохранении файла с кириллическим именем длина имени файла будет
420 символов и в ext3 (VFS) такой файл не влезет
Один из способов - отключить UTF8 в файловой системе ext3 - но как это
сделать...
