Были у меня похожие грабли на какой-то серии Asus-ов с Realtek-ом .
Винда работала безупречно. Compact 3.0 взводил карты, но сетевухи не
работали нормально
ни на одной из матерей этой серии.
Лечилось загрузкой ядра в режиме: "noapic nolapic"
Подозреваю, что на этой серии были просто какие-то кривости с
расширенным контроллером
прерываний.
