Была поблизости машина с флопиком.
По памяти:
1.Удаляем строчку про флопик в фстаб
2. Добавляем в
/usr/share/hal/fdi/policy/10osvendor/10-storage-policy.fdi там где про
флопик,

или в общей секции
меняем <merge key="storage.policy.default.mount_option.user"
type="bool">true</merge>
на меняем <merge key="storage.policy.default.mount_option.users"
type="bool">true</merge>
+ там где про флопик
<merge key="volume.policy.mount_option.codepage" type="string">866</merge>
<merge key="volume.policy.mount_option.iocharset"
type="string">utf8</merge> (если у вас утф8)

Нет такой удобной работы с флопиком, как при subfs
т.е. отмонтировать нужно через контекстное меню
ЗЫЖ Как сейчас вижу, идеальным вариантом было бы отучить subfs от всего
кроме флопиков.
