Помогите настроить модем.
Ноутбук Амило про. 2030, модем на чипе ALC 655, АС97
Выяснил такую особенность, установил Компакт 3.0.4 с DVD. При попытке
звонка через kppp получаю -- модем занят. После изысканий, делаю следующее:
ln -s /dev/ttySLM0 /dev/modem
slmodemd -a
получаю сообщение:
SmartLink Soft Modem: version 2.9.10 Apr 29 2005 21:27:32
symbolic link `/dev/ttySLM0' -> `/dev/pts/4' created.
modem `modem:1' created. TTY is `/dev/pts/4'
Use `/dev/ttySLM0' as modem device, Ctrl+C for termination.
После этого можно запускать kppp и звонить, но все это действует до
перезагрузки системы. Потом надо проделать все операции снова. Все делал
из под рута. Модем инициализируется, но нет набора, это уже вторая
проблема. То-есть, модем набирает номер - p8w600...., это видно в окне
журнала, но набор не проходит. Через некоторое время все повторяется, и
с тем же результатом.
Что я делаю не так, подскажите пожалуйста.
