Не так давно я пробовал разные jabber-серверы и icq-транспорты.
Все связки работали, но...
автоматический импорт асечных контактов сработал только на связке
jabberd 1.4.4 + jabber-jit 1.1.6 (позднее собрал себе 1.1.7)...
На том и остановился
