то бишь kernel-source-2.4.26-std-up-alt6
через apt-get закачал kernel-source-2.4.26, но оказывается это не совсем то
полного дистрибутива нет - качал установочный диск из интернета

Не бывает.
ЯДро собирается из ванильного тарбола (kernel-source-2.4.26) плюс патчи
(отдельные kernel-feat, kernel-fix).
