Не сочтите за наглость, но я помню, что в родном 7.0 были
проблемы с наладкой ide-scsi, после некоторых ре-инсталляций
(я поначалу отдал хорошую дань этому увлекательному спорту:)
с разными параметрами он не был прописан и его загрузку
приходилось ручками вставлять через modprobe в
/etc/rc.d/init.d/rc.local (если не напутал путь). Appendix
это вылечивал. Про другие, не ide-scsi, CD-ROM'ы сказать
ничего не мого:(
