Когда же это он успел стать не инсталлированным? Ну ладно, идем в инсталляшку и
делаем doinstall; ссылаясь на строку в одном своем конфиге, говорит: не знаю
такого зверя - ldconfig. А действительно, это что?

Нет. Конкерор -> Сизиф -> закачка -> doinstall
