Добрый день!
Вот, дожил и до таких извращений! :-/ Понадобилось обновить BIOS на
ноуте, а эти редиски-его создатели (IBM) выпускают обновления только в
виде исполняемого файла под DOS. При этом рекомендуют создать
загрузочную дискету с DOS, и с неё зарускать обновление. Всё бы хорошо,
но на моём ноуте как класс отсутствует флоповод, а приобретать эту очень
даже не дешёвую вещь ради одного только обновления как-то не хочется. А
кроме дисковода ноут умеет грузиться только с винта (где уже давно
безраздельно хозяйничает Линух) и CD. Поэтому единственный видимый выход
-- создать загрузочный компакт с DOS и обновлением. Но я не знаю, как
это сделать под Линуксом...
