HDD - Seagate 80G, определяется как "Primary slave", установлен
offtopic 2k разбит: NTFS/FAT32/swap(1G)/ext3(home)/ext3(tmp)/ext3("/") -
если нужно подробнее - напишу.
Недавно писал о проблеме при установке ALC3.0 ("boot from ALC3.0").
Похоже, что была проблема с CD-приводом (какая конкретно - не выяснил),
ибо поставил систему с внешнего usb-DVD-RW-привода HP. Но все только
начиналось - в процессе установки, после выбора дополнительных пакетов,
выскакивает окно: "Внутренняя ошибка: commit". В результате пришлось все
доставить потом с образа на харде.
Перегрузился неудачно - "DISK BOOT ERROR". Загрузился с cd-resque,
попытался установить Lilo вручную - не дает поставить на hdb (permission
denied). Плюнул, поставил перемычку на HDD, чтобы определялся как
Primary master, повторил процедуру установки ALC.
После перезагрузки все выглядело хорошо. На следующий день
потребовалось еще раз перезагрузить комп, но не тут то было - опять
"DISK BOOT ERROR".
Достало все! Снял перемычку, для эксперемента поставил ASP11 (со
своего родного CD-привода) - все нормально работает уже несколько дней,
но желание сидеть под ALC осталось до сих пор, так как дома на
настольном компе и на ноуте уже поставил.
