Hi, community!
Вопрос такой, возможно ли в OpenLDAP хранить изображения
или информацию в двоичном виде, аналогично типу BLOB в СУБД?
Вроде смотрю по документации есть там тип bin, но что в нем можно хранить?
Если возможно, то подходит ли для этого OpenLDAP из ALT Master 2.4?

Да, можно ... Проверено...
jpegPhoto хранит картинку ...
И, если у вас адресная книга настроена на LDAP, то KMail
показывает это фото в заголовке письма ...
А адресные книги КДЕ и Эволюции показывают в контактах ...
Так же можно хранить сертификаты пользователя... Но я не
экспериментировал с ними за ненадобностью...

За это не знаю, вероятно, все зависит от схем, которые вы
подключили ...
Больше сказать не могу, не проверял, так как нет необходимости...
