а FB уже не рассматривается? У меня в нем лежало и больше, но загрузка
происходила через external tables тогда, когда надобности в чтении не
было ;) А нежелательность чтения оттого, что для скорости перед заливкой
нескольких миллионов записей приходилось убивать индексы, а потом заново
их строить :)
а вообще сейчас бы я помучал MySQL - в те времена данные в него лились
быстрее всех, вот только с индексами было плохо :(
PostgreSQL оказался средним вариантом - скорость заливки больше, чем у
FB, и меньше, чем у MySQL, скорость построения индексов - наоборот.
