Наверное понятия элементарного удобства у нас разные. :)
Для меня элементарно удобно когда:
- вставил флешку;
- она тихо обнаружилась и подключилась;
- далее я просто копирую читаю из флешки причём как из DE(KDE,Gnome) так
и из любой другой программы типа mc;
- после окончания записи чтения я просто вытаскиваю флеш;
Давайте по пунктам сравним ваш метод, причём без оглядки на DE. :)
