hi all
как мне сказать ALM2.4 чтоб он не гасил экран при работе в консоли. по
умолчанию, я так понимаю, через некоторый промежуток врнмени он его
гасит. где это подкручивается сходу не нашел.

man setterm. "Гасить" по англицки будет "blank" ;-)

... и вписать в /etc/sysconfig/console/setterm строчку (без кавычек) '-blank 0'.

man setterm
В стандартных скриптах это настраивается через
/etc/sysconfig/console/setterm.
