Установил mutt и lynx с диска Compact 3.0. При первом запуске mutt видно следующее:
�Zа�Bалог /home/jb7/Mail не �A�C�Iе�A�Bв�Cе�B. Созда�B�L? ([да]/не�B):
т.е. некоторые символы ("ть" и т.д.) отображаются неверно. Далее пункты меню mutt отображаются с теми же недочетами.
то же самое с lynx: создаю файл c текстом, делаю cat textfile, на консоль выводится содержимое (отображается верно). делаю lynx textfile
отображается примерно с теми же недочетами, что и русский текcт в mutt
Неверное отображение присутствует и в консоли и в разных иксовых xterm-подобных терминалах (xterm, konsole)
Кодировка локали - UTF-8, я ничего не менял
Кто нибудь знает как это вылечить?
