Только что проделал такую процедуру:
1. Загружаемся с 1-го диска дистрибутива в режиме rescue, при
подключенном винте и IDE-Flash
2.Разбиваем IDE-Flash на разделы и создаем файловые системы.
3. mkdir /mnt/hda1...(2),(3), (hdb1)...
4. mount /dev/hda1 /mnt/hda1 ...
5. Становимся в корень системы на жестком диске (cd /mnt/hda1) и
копируем систему на флэш cp -a ./ /mnt/hdb1.
6 Редактируем /mnt/hdb1/etc/fstab ... и /mnt/hdb1/etc/lilo.conf
7. chroot /mnt/hdb1
8. lilo
Все.
Должно работать :)
