Предназначен для создания документов, книг, статей, и вообще любых
печатных материалов, которые выглядят очень качественно.

Практически все из раздела Издательство. Базовый tetex, gostscript,
bibtex, cm-super-fonts, latex2html, kile, psutils. Помимо этого надо
иметь шрифты PSCyr, если есть необходимость использовать Times,
Helvetica и Courier, что случается если редакция ультимативно требует,
чтобы статья была набрана таймсом. Берут их на ctan.org. Там же еще
лежит с полтыщи макропакетов, с помощью которых можно сделать все что
душе угодно.
