Вот принесли ВЕБ-камеру Labtec.
Включил ее в порт:

Поискал quickcam в репозитории и нашел sane. Эта labtec в принципе есть
still capture device, так что может и сэйн ее и заведет, однако, как я
понимаю, есть в природе модули qcamvc и usb-qcamvc, которые поддержат
video4linux. Однако, ключевая фраза <<A kernel patch and recompile are
necessary for support of this model>> меня как-то разжижает -- здесь
категорически народ выступает против переконфигурирования ядер на
коленке. И что делать?
