Купил AgeStar IUBCP USB to IDE переходник. Попробовал cdrom подключить,

И всё. Ни устройства в /dev, ни каталога в /media. Как использовать - не
понятно. Может, с винчестером по-другому будет (позже проверю), но
хотелось бы и cdrom'ы подключать (cd-rw). Что делать?
Система: ALC3.0 (вернее Branch 3.0).
