Не совсем то, что мне нужно. Попробую описать задачу: мне нужен скриптик,
который бы устанавливал dialup-соединение, передавал по нему некие данные,
причем с восстановлением соединения (т.е. persist), и сразу разрывал.
Никакого
demand, как видите. Причем юзер (в общем случае совсем тупой) должен иметь
возможность в любой момент разорвать соединение, нажав Ctrl-C. А тут
получается,
что если он нажмет Ctrl-C слишком быстро (например, запустив скрипт
случайно),
то имеет шанс получить поднятое соединение, кушающее online-время, и не
умирающее
само по себе.
Хотел спросить: может ли мне помочь etcnet в этой ситуации? А то неохота
время тратить
на заведомо проигрышный вариант.
Дальнейшие поиски решения ведутся.
