Да простит меня всезнающий All,
я не могу никак собрать ядро используя /boot/config-2.4.26-std-up-alt6
чтобы оно было $\equiv$ /boot/vmlinuz-2.4.26-std-up-alt6. Мало того,
оно даже звуков не производит.
Итак, я поставил систему. В рамках программы-установщика.
Глядь, а в /boot лежит /boot/config-2.4.26-std-up-alt6.
Какова нормальная рекция чувака без комплексов? Именно, взять
исходники ядра и собрать ядро с тем конфигом, чтот лежит в /boot,
и запустить cmp. Ну, кто повторит?
В результате имеем полное несоответсвие. Ну и что я напишу после этого
офицеру по безопасности? Я напишу помимо всего, что команда, собравшая
дистр, не рубит по безопасности никак.
Вывод офицера: не готово по формальным признакам для использования ...
Можно смеяться, можно проигнорировать, однако эта, бл"мя, неаккуратность
в сбюорке дистра/ядра существенно тормозит продвижение linux'а вообще.
Так вот вопрос: а на хрена в /boot ложить то, из чего нельзя ничего
путевого сделать?
