Здравствуйте!
Вот захотелось пощупать MySQL/InnoDB на предмет работы с rawdevices.
Раздел, который хочется ему отдать - /dev/system/db (LVM). Пробовал
также использовать rawdevices по аналогии с ораклом, указав раздел в
/etc/sysconfig/rawdevices.
В my.cnf примерно следующее:
innodb_data_home_dir =
innodb_data_file_path = /dev/raw/raw1:3Gnewraw
Если создать ссылку на устройство внутри чрута, а пользователя mysql
поместить в группу disk, чтоб он смог читать/писать на это устройство,
то в логе получаю следующее:

Дело ли в чруте или есть другие причины? Может просто сделать ссылку и
поместить в группу disk недостаточно?
