Из updates закачался firefox-1.0.4.
Почему-то firefox не руссифицирован в "русском дистрибутиве".
Нет thunderbird, 0.8 - не считается.
Я конечно могу скачать и поставить с mozilla.org,
хотел присмотреться к использованию linux в организации.

прежде, чем язвить, поставьте пакет firefox-ru.

в сизифе, по кр. мере, есть.
Ставить оттуда я не настаиваю, если вы хотите остаться в пределах
дистрибутива, посмотрите в backports. или попросите, чтобы его туда
собрали/перенесли, если его там нет.
