Это было давно и неправда ;) Ещё во времена вычпрактикума в универе мы
гоняли досовский gnuplot, и из тех времён я вынес, что для построения
графиков, и, возможно, подрисовки стрелочек и рюшечек он -- самое то. Но
тогда остаётся проблема ввода/обработки числовых таблиц.
