Еще раз стоит подумать о смысле слова updates... ну или в словарь
заглянуть... ВСЕ пакеты в updates по-определению более новые, чем на
древних компакт-дисках

Так и должно быть - в репозитарии количество пакетов значительно меньше,
чем на компактах... :)
