Была настроена печать на SMB принтер,
потом принтер подключили к другой машине: win xp sp2
Завел там пользователя, перенастроил принтер,
пробую напечатать пробную страницу - задание остается в очереди, не уходит.
в логах следующее:

Вызывает подозрение еще один факт:
# service winbind status
# service winbind start
# service winbind stop
не выдает ни каких сообщений!
# service smb restart
- работает нормально.
В чем проблема: во втором сервиспаке виндузы
или с моей машиной что-то не то?
