У меня была аналогичная ситуация в ALT Compact 2.3 (см. мой пост "Oops"
за 7.7.2004 в этой рассылке). Так ничем и не разрешилась.
В моем случае:
процессор Pentium-133
2 сетевые карточки Surecom EP-320X-S
память 32Mb
Я не думаю, что это аппаратная проблема, поскольку уже почти полгода на
этой конфигурации работает FreeBSD 4.10 и никаких вылетов не наблюдается.
С другой стороны до установки ALT Compact 2.3 там стоял IPCop (файрволл
на базе Linux) и тоже всё работало нормально, поэтому грешить на драйвер
fealnx я тоже не могу.
Интересно услышать от людей как работает Surecom EP-320X-S на более
мощных процессорах. Для меня это актуально, поскольку через неделю
обещают подключить мой домашний компьютер (Athlon 1000) к домовому
интернету через локалку и у меня там стоит тоже Surecom EP-320X-S (ну не
торгуют у нас в городе другими сетевухами - разве что на заказ) :(
Если с сурекомами так всё плохо, то надо уже сейчас заказывать другую
карточку. Кстати какую?
