Именно так его есть я не пробовал, но вот результат наблюдений: на диске
с 2001 по 2004г стояла ext2, причём там стояли последовательно RH6.0,
ALJ1.1, ALJ2.0 и ALJ2.2. Всё это время диск не переформатировался,
дистрибутивы последовательно обновлялись (да-да, и с шапки на альт --
тоже ;) ). Плюс отдельным разделом там же был хомяк, где тоже многое
менялось опять-таки без форматирования. Результат: фрагментация
(оцениваемая по результатам ext2fsck) сравнительно быстро достигала
значения около 10%, и на этом её рост прекращался.
