Мне попадалась флешка, которая под оффтопиком работала, но как-то с трудом.
Когда я на нее посмотрел, то оказалось, что fdisk /dev/sda видит на ней
4 раздела,
причем использованый виндой раздел имел номер 7!
Снос разделов и, затем, создание одного решило все проблемы: флешка жила
счастливо
и относительно долго (пока не отняли взад :( ;) )
PS. Как потом выяснилось втыкание _той_ флешки в винду вернуло все к
исходному
состоянию. Как клялись юзавшие никакие программы изменения разделов к
девайсу не
применялись
P.P.S. Предлагаю переместиться в hardware@
