Увы, через samba-принтер с рекомендуемым CUPS'ом драйвером ответное
молчание принтера. В предлагаемом списке драйверов есть драйвер HP,
ставил - печает(!), но черно-белый вариант.
Скачал с официального сайта epson файлы *.ppd и поместил их
/usr/share/cups/model, как результат в списке драйверов появился новый
драйвер, после установки которого, принтер подмигивает индикатором
"DATA" и... ничего не делает. Начинал собирать ghostscript-7.05 с
добавлением нужного драйвера, но на этапе make завалился, что-то с
zlib'ами :(
Теперь приходит мысль о том, что модуль Postscript в самом принтере не
помешал бы :)
