Выполняю сборку ядра на базе 2.4.20-alt17
Дистрибутив ALM 2.2

Установил src.rpm
$ rpm -ihv kernel24-2.4.20-alt17.src.rpm

Захожу в RPM/SOURCES
и выполняю
$ make menuconfig
make: *** Нет правила для сборки цели `menuconfig'.  Останов.

тоже с xconfig

make xconfig
make: *** Нет правила для сборки цели `xconfig'.  Останов.

Почему не загружаются menuconfig и xconfig?
Что я не так делаю.

В SOURCES директории несколько config файлов
какой из них будет использоваться для сборки ядра?

kernel-2.4.20-athlon-smp.config
kernel-2.4.20-athlon-smp-rsbac.config
kernel-2.4.20-athlon-up.config
kernel-2.4.20-athlon-up-rsbac.config
kernel-2.4.20-i386-boot.config
kernel-2.4.20-i586-linus-smp.config
kernel-2.4.20-i586-linus-up.config
kernel-2.4.20-i586-smp.config
kernel-2.4.20-i586-smp-rsbac.config
kernel-2.4.20-i586-up.config
kernel-2.4.20-i586-up-rsbac.config
kernel-2.4.20-i686-smp.config
kernel-2.4.20-i686-smp-rsbac.config
kernel-2.4.20-i686-up.config
kernel-2.4.20-i686-up-rsbac.config
kernel-2.4.20-k6-up.config
kernel-2.4.20-k6-up-rsbac.config

Затем выполняю
$ rpm -bb kernel24.spec
или
$ rpm -ba kernel24.spec
и получаю комплект rpm-ов.

Что почитать про сборку ядер на базе alt ?
Что почитать про правила написания spec ?
