Уважаемое коммьюнити!
Подскажите, пожалуйста, по screen fonts.
Согласно известному сусевскому руководству по использованию MS Fonts
http://en.opensuse.org/Optimal_Use_of_MS_TrueType_Core_Fonts_for_a_KDE_Desktop_on_SuSE#Installing_the_fonts
необходимо менять переменную BYTECODE_BW_MAX_PIXEL. Нужно ли вообще
это делать для ALT Linux?
Вообще, ОЧЕНЬ хочется иметь толковый howto как сделать шрифты не
только читабельными, но и приятно выглядящими. Плюс, хочется что бы
шрифты интерфейсов приложений выглядели одинаково в любом window
manager'e.
Если таковой есть для ALT Linux, пожалуйста, ткните носом.
