А какие проблемы? У меня счас все на автомате - поставил
hasher, настроил все репозитарии локально и никаких проблем,
только кидаешь ему что собирать - он все зависимости сам вытягивает.:)

Ну не знаю как wks26, а std26 очень даже ничего - полет нормальный.:)
Думаю, если пересобирать, то много тянуть не понадобится.
А сборка ядра на моем Cel766/256RAM ~3часа, ну и модули по мелочи.
К тому же все всегда под рукой сорцы, и все что требуется ->
нет зависимости от изменения на ftp.altlinux.ru
