Ответ зависит от того, какой у Вас дистрибутив, собран ли
src.rpm
в соответствии с требованиями этого дистрибутива и что Вы
собственно хотите установить - исходники или получить из
XXX.src.rpm XXX.rpm.
Советую прочесть http://www.rpm.org/RPM-HOWTO/
Лучше будет, если Вы прямо скажете, что какой именно пакет
Вы хотите установить и на какую систему.
